In 2021, Marwa Moeen was forced to leave her home, Afghanistan, and flee the Taliban.

She is one of the subjects of the compelling documentary ‘Die. Or Die Trying: Escaping the Taliban.’

She has been in Australia for 2 years now, starting out as a bank and teller, and after a period of study, is now an HR administrator in office of the NSW Ombudsman.

Marwa says, “I am the voice for Afghani girls who can’t study, and not just Afghani girls, I also want to be the voice of all innocent young people who don’t have their rights in this world,”
