I Look At It This Way is a love letter to my home.

Watsons Bay, tucked in behind Sydney's South Head, is an old fishing village, before that, way way before that, it was home to the Dharawal people (of the Yuin Nation).

What a home it would have been, in many ways, it still is.

I have lived here for 7 years, wandering the hidden beaches, rocky points and deserted parks at night, armed mostly with a tiny point-and-shoot camera, or simply my phone. Rarely do I return to my flat without something I find intriguing; a shadow here, a gliding pelican there...couples bound in passion, kids lost in zero gravity, the list goes on.

I have loved here, lost here, laughed like a madman and cried like a tap on full. I thought I should put it all down in this letter, for you, me and the Bay.

Why?

Because I don't want to forget a thing.
